Everything I do is based on two core passion’s;

  1. To help others and in some small way make life and living on planet earth a little better each day
  2. Ideas and Innovation, I love to challenge the status quo, to ask hard questions, to think differently.

By combining my love of innovation with a Customer Experience I get to deliver something which keeps me in my flow.

Why Customer Experience and not something else?

I’ve been lucky to have had a lot of different roles and responsibilities in my time;

  • Shelf Filling at Keymarkets (my first proper part time job)
  • Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • Production Engineering and Control
  • Cost and Management Accounting
  • Direct Sales
  • Indirect Sales
  • Global Account Manager
  • Marketing

These varying roles has provided me with a broad business and commercial experience/knowledge which is somewhat unusual (at least I think it is).

The thing which has always been common though is that ultimately it’s really about customers. And customer experience is about the total business and not just about a bit of it.

I happen to think that a business can thrive, build and develop by focusing the principles of a great customer experience. It can’t though do this without paying heed to the costs and operations.

By focusing on customer experience, I can potentially, help customers, help businesses and the staff in those businesses. And engage all my natural curiosity which also happens to keep me in my flow state.
