There were a ton of great talks at this year’s AIGA National Conference in New Orleans in October, but for me the stand-out was a tiny, 7-minute “tasting menu” talk given by the incredible Sam Potts. (You may know him for his infamous Refutation of The Elements of Typographic Style or the mind-boggling, diagrammed “all the characters in David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest” poster.)
